TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last updated: 24 March 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Taymo platform (taymo.app) and associated applications, operated by TAYMO SPORTS BOOKING PLATFORM (C.R No. 00238991, MOCI Qatar) ("Taymo"). By using the platform you agree to these Terms.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
Users must be 18 years or older, or a minor whose parent or guardian has registered and consented on their behalf. You warrant that all information you provide is accurate and complete and that you have legal capacity to agree to these Terms. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account. Notify Taymo immediately of any unauthorised access at contact@taymo.app. Taymo may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, security risk, or breach of these Terms.
2. NATURE OF PLATFORM — MARKETPLACE ROLE
Taymo is a technology marketplace platform and, where applicable, a payment facilitator. Taymo is not itself a sports academy, coach, or organiser. Programs are offered and delivered by independent Service Providers. Taymo does not employ coaches and is not responsible for training quality, safety, or outcomes. Service Providers are solely responsible for the legality, quality, safety standards, insurance, and regulatory compliance of their programs under applicable Qatar law.
3. BOOKINGS, PAYMENTS, AND PAYMENT PROCESSING
All prices and seat availability are shown at checkout before any payment is made. Online payments are processed exclusively by Tap Payment (www.tap.company), a licensed PCI-DSS compliant payment service provider in Qatar and the GCC. Taymo does not store, process, or access cardholder data at any time. Taymo issues an electronic receipt and booking confirmation upon successful payment. All applicable commission or service fees are disclosed at checkout before the user confirms payment.
Qatar E-Commerce Law No. 16 of 2010, Art. 11: Electronic contracts are formed upon confirmed user acceptance.
Qatar E-Commerce Law No. 16 of 2010, Art. 18: The electronic receipt has full legal evidentiary value.
4. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellation and refund eligibility is governed by the Service Provider's disclosed policy for the specific program booked. Where no Service Provider policy exists, Taymo's Default Refund Policy applies. Taymo will use reasonable endeavours to mediate disputes between users and Service Providers.
5. USER OBLIGATIONS AND ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose, attempt unauthorised access to any part of the platform, submit false or misleading information, impersonate others, harass users or Taymo staff, or use automated tools to scrape or extract data without Taymo's written consent. Violation may result in immediate account termination and referral to Qatar authorities.
Qatar Cybercrime Prevention Law No. 14 of 2014: Unauthorised access, data theft, and electronic fraud are criminal offences under Qatar law.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, software, trademarks, logos, and data on the platform are the intellectual property of Taymo or its licensors. Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform for its intended purpose only.
7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The platform is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. To the fullest extent permitted by Qatar law, Taymo disclaims all implied warranties. Taymo is not responsible for acts or omissions of any Service Provider.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Taymo's total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amounts paid by or to the user through the platform in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Taymo is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing herein limits liability for gross negligence causing death or personal injury, fraud, or liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory Qatar law.
Qatar Civil Code Law No. 22 of 2004: These limitations are drafted in conformity with Qatar civil law and do not exclude mandatory consumer rights under Qatar Consumer Protection Law No. 8 of 2008.
9. FORCE MAJEURE
Taymo is not liable for failure or delay due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, government action, pandemic, power failure, or third-party infrastructure failure.
10. AMENDMENTS
Taymo may amend these Terms at any time. Amended Terms are published with a revised 'Last Updated' date. For material changes, Taymo will endeavour to notify registered users at least 14 days in advance. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
11. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Disputes shall first be submitted to 30 days of good-faith negotiation. Unresolved disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the State of Qatar.
